Dee Caster Obituary

DEE ANN CASTER FEB 3, 1957 - NOV 28, 2008 Dee Ann Caster passed away at her home in Sonora, CA on November 28. 2008. She was born February 3, 1957 in Modesto, CA. She is survived by her sister, Karen Lee Caster of New Jersey and parents, Barbara and Bob (deceased) Buck of Sonora and Jerry and Sandi Caster of Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Grace and Lloyd Haggerty and paternal grandparents Gladys and Jack Arnold. Dee had many talents. She was a gifted artist, gourmet cook, photographer and gardener. She tackled any job with dedication and hard work whether it was the growing vegetables and flowers, cooking, painting or even helping her father with remodeling projects. Dee was blessed with a wonderful sense of humor and irony and often made family and friends laugh. She was an open, trusting soul who made anyone she met feel that she was interested in them and was eager to learn from their experience. Dee made many friends in her life time. Her jovial spirit and her can do'' attitude made her a bright light in the lives of those who loved her. She will be forever missed. Internment will be in the Acacia Memorial Cemetery, Modesto CA at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 5th. Dee ment more to my life than most people that I have encountered.Our friendship started in Lincolin Estates in the 1960's ,and I know it spans to this day.Memories are fun and perhaps fleeting. But Dee & her little sister Karen provided more than a lifetime of funny expierence's !With Love. Rex

I'm not sure but I believe I attended Catherine Everett Elementary School with Dee Ann in Modesto. I remember her as a sweet and happy person. I remember her bedroom for some reason. She had a pretty bunkbed with lots of stuffed animals on the top bunk. I had good memories of her. Lori
