I met Peanut at the airport where he was a fixture. While I referred to him as an old reprobate, I really admired Peanut's technical and mechanical knowledge. To say that he was unique is an understatement. Rest in peace old friend!

Peanut was introduced to me by my brother-in-law, Darold Jolliff, about 40 years ago. Peanut and I went flying in my Pitts Special about 35+ years ago. He wanted to do some aerobatics. I showed him how to do loops, rolls, hammerheads and spins in the Pitts. We even buzzed his strip on Carpenter Road. We had a great time together. In later years we would occasionally meet up at the CAF breakfasts and lunches at the Modesto Airport and relive that Pitts flight. Peanut was a great guy, great pilot and great friend. Rest in Peace Old Friend.

Our sincere condolences to the entire Ramsdell family! We met Peanut through Gary, Lori, Kassie and Sarah and have some fond memories of Peanut! He was one of a kind and always full of mischief. May you rest in peace and your family hold you close in their hearts!

I met Peanut Ramsdell when I was asked to coach a little league team and Peanut's son was my second baseman Peanut built us a pitching machine That the pros use now I didn't get an opportunity to talk much with him He was a very nice considerate genius I think he could have built a rocket ship if he had the material It was my pleasure to have met him God bless you RIP

We knew every year we would receive our first Christmas card from the Ramsdells. We,along with many other T.I.D. Canal Tenders shared many party's and potlucks in his airport hanger. Peanuts and Willis and i flew together to Harris Ranch for breakfast. It was a special day for me. Peanuts and i worked together at Turlock Irrigation District for several years. He was a good friend and will be missed.
