Elmer Weaver Obituary

Elmer Weaver
November 12, 1939 - December 5, 2020
Hughson, California - Elmer Weaver was called home on Saturday, December 5th, 2020 at the age of 81 years old.
Elmer was survived by his life partner Jeannie Peterson of 23 years, daughters Carol Rambo, Dottie Melman, Christine Cardoso (son-in-law Joe), stepdaughter Michelle Stone, stepson John Peterson, 15 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by wife Doraine Weaver, sons Wesley and Kenneth Weaver, and parents Wesley and Elma Weaver. Elmer was truly a loving life partner, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend to everyone.
Elmer loved sports, especially football and baseball, where his favorite teams were the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco Giants. He also spent his free time watching NASCAR and sitting on his porch talking to his neighbors. Before, Elmer spent 37 years at Gallo Winery in Modesto, California where he retired from.
He was a strong patriarch of his family, a good father who always took care of his children and did the best he could to teach and guide them. He was a loving grandfather and great grandfather to many. Even in his final days, Elmer remained in good spirits to assure his family everything would be okay as he gave a simple smile and waved goodbye.
A private celebration of life will be held Saturday, December 12th, 2020. If you would like to pay your respects, they will be accepted at 19199 W. Bradbury Rd. Turlock, California 95380.
