Eric and I use to be duck hunting companions many years ago and enjoyed some very wonderful hunting adventures and successes due in no small part to his gifted waterfowl calling abilities. I was very saddened with the news of his tragic and untimely death. My prayers are that God's peace will be with the surving families and comfort them in their grief.

Dear Jan & Family,
My heart was so burden when I read the article in the Modesto Bee yesterday. I just couldn't believe it! It seems like yesterday when we moved into our home on Poinsettia Drive and met your family almost 33 years ago. Eric would have been 11 or 12 years old and I have so many memories of Eric growing up. One of my fondest memories is the time when he bought my 1969 Camero...he was so, so excited...but when he wrecked it...he was so, so unhappy. Also, the time when he cut down that huge tree in our backyard and dug out the stump for a mere $50.00. I have never seen anyone work so hard...he gave it his all until the job was completed. I know that his determination is what saved Brandon! Jan, just know that I'm praying for you and your family durning this difficult time. I miss you. Love, Joy Thompson
