I only remember when you would come to Bakersfield to visit with my mom and dad . When I was little, I always thought you were the oldest of our family. ( that's how close you were to our family). I remember you came to visit my mom before she passed away. You were a very special Loving Sis in Christ.

Oh Grandma where do I begin?? I know you and I didn't have the best of times but I'll tell you one thing..I will always remember the years of flooding the scratchcards for Christmas gifts and the driving around to see the lights at Christmas time the pancakes for breakfast and a HUGE turkey dinner. I will always remember church during Christmas and how I got in trouble for pushing Ana, I will remember the times we had the talks we had and especially the laughs, I will remember the birthday gifts and the awesome Christmas dinners, now like Ana I will think of blue like I always have in a different way. I love you grandma and tell my grandpa hello for me would ya!! I love you always

I think its funny cuz i kept going to stores seeing things that are blue. And thinking that would look great in grandmas bedroom or somewhere else in her house. I keep thinking that everytime i go to her house i'll just go into her room and see her sleeping. I haven't comprehend that shes gone yet. Now of wednesday i'll have to say lets go visit grandma and grandpa. I miss u so dearly. And i love u oodles and oodles!!!

Sending my condolences the family. I also have good memories of Esther and also of Manuel Colon; like when we lived in Russel, and also after we moved to Bakersfield, Your Mom and dad bought land in Modesto. Then they would drive down to Bakersfield to visit in their 1948 Ford coupe. this must have been in the late 60's. They were an extended family to us.

My heart aches with sadness. I miss you so much already, Grandma! Every time I think of you my mind fills with the funny memories we share. I’ll miss the cars rides, I’ll miss our conversations about how you met grandpa, I’ll miss hearing you miss pronounce words, I’ll miss your beautiful smile, I’ll miss your infectious laughter, I’ll miss all the yummy Puerto Rican food you cooked, but most of all… I’ll miss you!

I will never forget the last time you told me you loved me. I hope I make you proud. Thank you for teaching me how to forgive.

I love you, Grandma!!!
