Ethan Enriquez Obituary

Ethan David Enriquez
September 2, 1998 - June 9, 2020
The man. The myth. The legend. Men wanted to be him and women wanted to be around him. Ethan David Enriquez passed on June 9, 2020.
Ethan loved meatball sandwiches from Subway, camping with friends, his girlfriend Gabbi, Flavor Flav, his fur child Mimi & red bull energy drinks. Not necessarily in that order.
Ethan took fashion cues from no one. Ethan's signature look always consisted of a wildly colorful Hawaiian shirt. The only thing his outfits matched was his personality; ridiculously eclectic & full of vibrancy. He wasn't much a fan of being on time or any sort of authority. Ethan marched to the beat of his own drum.
As mom says, he was a walking encyclopedia, full of information-both useful & useless. He was incredibly smart & passionate about everything in his life. Ethan was truly, one of a kind.
With a kind heart, gentle nature & extraordinary spirit, Ethan will be missed
tremendously.
Ethan was born September 2, 1998 to loving parents Michael E. Enriquez and Bonnie Enriquez-Pacheco. He lived in Oakdale, CA.
Ethan is preceded in death by his fur child Rufus.
Ethan is survived his parents Michael Enriquez and Bonnie Enriquez-Pacheco, bonus dad John Pacheco, sister Heather (Neetu) Enriquez, brother Michael (Victoria) Enriquez, many nieces and nephews, and his fur daughter Mimi.
A visitation is scheduled for 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Franklin & Downs Funeral Home, McHenry Chapel, 1050 McHenry Ave., Modesto, CA. Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM on Friday, June 19, 2020 at Lakewood Memorial Park, 900 Santa Fe Ave, Hughson, CA.

Hanging new chimes (which I used to hate) when I sat out there with you but now, they are just soooooo soothing. Just some things that remind me of you on your tree. I LOVE YOU my son <3

Well, I am writing up your 5-year memorium and everything technical that could mess up is messing up. I know somehow that is you messing with me trying to ease my heavy heart <3 and as I laugh because you were always my go to tech guy anytime I had a question and then you would heavy sigh like OMG mom get with the times LOL I miss you every single day and 5 years later I am updating your computer and Steam games for the kids to be able to access and enjoy. Somehow 159 games (I remember getting charges on my card when you would ask to buy a game - -on sale mom - - just today mom - - and at end of month there would be $29.99, $19.99, (5) $9.99's and and and OMG kid - - anyway I hope they enjoy them like you did. They won't be captain of a team, but they will think of you as they play your games on your computer! I love you Ethan and think of you daily! Seems some days you are more present now than when your physical body was here - what a comfort feeling.

Ethan, It's been 4 and a half years since you left us and there hasn't been a day where I haven't thought about you. You were a core part of my life during our teenage years. I'm sorry I didn't speak at your funeral, one of my biggest regrets but this is an opportunity for me to share. The sadness I feel comes in waves and there are things I stumble across that remind me of you. You were my confidant, an ally and most importantly my best friend. I cherish the times we spent together and appreciate the friendship we had and the experiences we had together. From coming over to your house every weekend, to getting into shenanigans at school or out and about, you gave me confidence in myself and your charisma had a lasting effect on me. I'm living for you and will continue to hold you in my heart and share who you were and the impact you had on people till my last days. God bless you, Ethan. May you rest in peace my friend

I miss my little white boy, can't wait to see you again. I think about all the fun times we had with the family, on vacations, cruises or just sitting at home. One of the funniest memories when I used to always pick you up from school and take you to American Chevrolet - everyone would say they could tell you were my son because we looked so much alike <3 We laughed at that from the time you were young all the way until your passing when you would drop by and have lunch at the deli to order food and put on my tab. How I would give anything to have you do the same things now. I love you Ethan.

4 years-does it get easier No, in many ways it gets harder...seems like yesterday day but seems like so long ago!! What would you be doing today, we wonder so many things about you because you had so much to offer everyone. I think of you daily, I blame all my electronics that glitch or weird things that happen on you so nothing has changed there lol. My heart still aches for your hugs and to hear your huge contagious laughter! I love you so very much Ethan and miss you like none other!!! Until I get to see that grin again Rest In Paradise sweet son!!! Love MOM

I'm writing this with a heavy heart. I worked with Ethan at Enterprise Rent a Car and he was a great person. We got the chance to talk about anything and everything on long rides to pick up cars or dead times in the office. He was super smart and funny and I always enjoyed our conversations. All of us at work are heartbroken by his passing and our sincerest prayers and condolences go out to Ethan's family and friends.
