George Allen Crawford, 76 of Patterson passed away Wednesday, January 28th at his residence.
Mr. Crawford was born in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma and was a resident of Patterson for 71 years. He was a warehouseman for 20 years and worked for the Patterson Irrigation District and the Patterson Warehouse. He was a US Navy Veteran and was a softball pitcher for the Navy. He was a boxer in his youth and enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, shooting pool and playing the harmonica and guitar. He loved animals and was active in dog breeding.
Mr. Crawford is survived by his wife, Alejandra Luna Crawford; children, George Raymond Crawford, Irma Lisa Hupe all of Patterson, Steve Crawford and Suzy Sims both of Oregon; brother, James Crawford of Washington State; sisters, Corine Morrison and Betty Truett both of Denair; 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by is parents, Ambers and Birdie Crawford and sister, Maxine Brainard.
A Visitation will be held from 9:00 am to 11:00 am followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 am, Thursday, February 5th at Hillview Funeral Chapel in Patterson. Interment will be at a later date at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella.

Oh uncle ,
You will be miss very much. but I can remember when he would play the music. My auntie was just a angle. She love my uncle with out adout. I would like to thank you my aunt for being the person you are . may my uncle George rest in peace. And may god guide aunt Alex and my cuz for the days to come. I love you uncle George.
