Modesto, California - Gerry Adams passed away from cancer on September 24, 2022 surrounded by loved ones.
Gerry was born to Lyn and Don Adams in Denver, Colorado, March 5, 1960. He married the love of his life, Angela (Gallagher) Adams in 1979. He is survived by his wife of over 42 years; his children, Nathan, Joshua (Janee), Caleb (Bekah), Hannah (Erik), Michael (Jourdawn); his ten beloved grandchildren: Addy, Luke, Joel, Jonah, Ava, Teddy, Caleb, Abraham, Eloise, and Beatrice. His siblings: Paul, Carolyn, Ann, Joan, and Tony. He is preceded in death by his parents, Don and Lyn and his sister Bev.
Gerry loved to be at home with his family. You could almost always find him sitting in the backyard or in the living room working on a crossword puzzle, solving sudoku, or reading a book. He spent many years fixing his own broken down cars and then his five kids' broken down cars. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, and friend. He will be greatly missed but forever remembered.
A memorial service will be held on 10/4/2022 at 12:30pm at Calvary Chapel Modesto, 4300 American Ave. The service will be live streamed for those unable to attend in person via www.ccmodesto.com

Gerry was a great friend and neighbor in 8th grade and high school. He had a wonderful sense of humor, loved to play games and wanted a part in any adventure. I'll remember him fondly forever. My heartfelt condolences to Angela and his whole family.
