Mr.Switzer was my sixth grade teacher in the 70´s. He was my first male teacher & I was a bit nervous at the beginning of the school year.
He had such a kind heart & ended up being one of my favorite teachers. I´m forever grateful that I got to be in his class. My sincere condolences to his family.

Gordon and I were part of a Friday night poker group for many years. He had the nicest smile. And also a good poker face. But when he won, he smiled and smiled. And he made the best chili. May God's love surround Gondon's family.

Mr Switzer was my fifth grade teacher at Fair Oaks Elementary back in the 1960´s. He was so kind. I loved being in his class. Mr. Switzer shared his love of music with us. Great memories!! A wonderful teacher! Prayers for the family.

I was so sorry to hear of Mr. Switzer´s passing-I wasn´t in his class in fifth grade (1968-69) but he did come in and teach us music in his rich baritone voice while our homeroom teacher taught his class art. I still even remember the German song he taught us. Mr. Switzer was always the teacher that the fourth graders hoped they would get, and even though I didn´t get him, I was happy that he taught music to our class. We all will remember him fondly.

Don and I so enjoyed our friendship with your parents. We were all on the same page politically and were all involved with teaching the young. I'll keep them both in my heart.
