Jane was born in Ceres, CA, in 1952. Jane was a 1970 graduate of Hughson High School. She was a summa cum laude 1974 graduate from California State University Stanislaus, Turlock, California. She taught kindergarten at Wakefield School in Turlock for 20 years, and helped design bilingual education programs for the kindergarten classes in the Oakdale and Turlock Unified School Districts. Jane and her husband Robert own the Dave Wilson Nursery at Hickman, CA. The nursery was founded by her maternal grandparents, Dave and Isabel Wilson of Modesto, California.
Jane was an accomplished gardener, gourmet cook, and horsewoman. Her Arabians, her Yorkshire terrier and her cats will miss her as much as will her family and friends.
Jane was the daughter of the late John R. Wynne and will be deeply mourned by her mother, Betty Anne Wilson Wynne of Hughson. Her father was a graduate of Sonora High School, class of 1937. She was the granddaughter of Frances Isabel Nina'' (Padgett) Wynne, a long-time resident of Columbia, whose strength, generosity, civic commitment and indomininable spirit were an essential influence on Jane's own grace and compassion.
Jane is survived by her husband Robert Woolley, Hickman, CA., her daughter, Erica, attending UC Santa Cruz, her mother Betty Anne Wilson Wynne, her brother, Geoff Wynne and a neice, Zuni Wynne, both of Sonora. She also leaves cousins Talfourd Wynne, David Wynne, Ted Wynne and Richard Wynne, all Tuolumne County residents. Also her cousins Susan Wynne Milleson in Washington, Anne Wynne North of Grants Pass, Oregon, Melissa Warren of Davis, Mark Warren of Reno, Amy Furth- MacDonald of San Francisco and Wynne Furth-Brenneis of Palo Alto. She is also survived by cousins Luke Wilson of Sacramento and W. Dave Wilson of Cataula, GA.

Dear Robert, Jane has been much on my mind; remembering so many fun rides together and horsecamping at Pt. Reyes. She came a long way from the first time we rode at Mt. Madonna to watching her take her horse over jumps at Connie's! We appreciated her great meals, her style, and her wry humor.

Robert, Erica & Family,
I was so saddened to read about Jane and I'm so sorry for your loss. I taught with Jane for many years at Wakefield and she was my son Jorgie's 2nd grade teacher. I remember when she brought her beautiful baby girl Erica to school and how excited she was and couldn't stop smiling. Now Erica's in college, how wonderful. Jane was always so kind and thoughtful to everyone and a very "beautiful and classy" lady. She was special to all her students as they were to her. It has been years since I left Wakefield but there were those of us, including Jane, who were there in those early years at the beginning of a new school and were part of that "Wakefield Family" who will always be in each other's hearts. She will be missed but never forgotten. Jane will be remembered with much warmth and admiration from all of us who knew her. She was special!

I remember Jane as she brought Erica to Little Folks Nursery School. She was such a loving mother, and even cared enough to make sure Erica got her teeth brushed after she ate lunch.

My sincere sympathies to all who loved Jane. I remember her friendly smile from our days at Hughson High, and getting to meet her daughter Ericka at school as well. I pray that God will comfort all of her family and ease the pain with the knowledge that Jane waits for them in Heaven.

Robert and family,
I was deeply saddened to hear about Jane’s passing. Though it has been over twenty-five years since I last saw her I have thought of her often. I can recall her excitement at the birth of a colt. She made me my first cup of French Press coffee for which I am forever indebted. Jane had a zest for life and once you met her it was hard to forget her beauty, grace, gentleness and humor. My deepest sympathies to you and your family.

Cousin Robert & family,
I'm deeply saddened to hear of the loss of your lovely Jane. Having just gone through this recently myself I unfortunately know how you're feeling. Words don't describe any of the feelings. Try to find some comfort in your memories and friends and family that are near. Call any time if you would like to talk.
Love

Bob and family, so very sorry to read about Jane in the newspaper. She and I went to Downey High School together. I moved after my freshman year but would run into her in Turlock or Modesto from time to time. My deepest sympathy to all of you. Jane was a very dear, sweet person.
