Jason Imbert Obituary

Jason Paul Imbert
June 8, 1970 -
August 1, 2017
Jason passed away at home after a courageous battle with liver disease surrounded by family and friends. He was a loving father, son, brother, uncle and friend. He was a glazier by trade but his true passion was for music. He was a gifted guitarist and song writer and will forever be missed by all who knew and loved him. He was born in San Jose and moved to Modesto in 1990. It didn't take long for him to get into the local music scene. He played at Xfest, The Fat Cat and many other venues. He loved his music and also his Atlanta Falcons and Oakland A's. He is survived by his mother, Sue Imbert of Modesto, father and step mother Frank and Tricia Imbert of Redlands, CA. Also survived by his sisters Rebecca LeMay and Roxanne Imbert, daughter Summer Ray Music-Imbert, long time girlfriend Samantha Music and her daughter Sirenity Music, niece Caitlin Evans, nephew Jacob Gamez and countless friends and family. No services at this time. A celebration of life is planned for a later date.

I first met Jason working at the glass shop in Modesto and became very close friends with him and his family in the early 1990's we have stayed closely in touch, one our favorite things to do was go to a little bar we named "the Office" and play pool most of the night, along with his mother and sister we had know problem closing the bar many times a week. It will always be in my memory on how much fun we all had. Jason became my best friend so close to me we called each other brothers. He is and will always be deep in my heart. My the good lord take special care of him and his family. RIP Mr. Jason Imbert Play your music Loud my friend.
