Dear Family of Jessica Marie Solis,
Please accept my condolences on the April 10, 2005 death of your beloved Jessica. I relate to your grief as I am a bereaved parent, having suddenly lost my daughter, Melinda Rose Silva, on January 6, 2005.
In addition to expressing my condolences to you, I write to those of you living in the greater Modesto area and who are parents, grandparents or adult siblings of Jessica, to let you know that I and several other area bereaved parents formed last Spring the Modesto/Riverbank Area Chapter of The Compassionate Friends, a non-profit, non-sectarian, self-help grief support group for parents, grandparents & adult siblings (18 & over) who have experienced the death of a child of any age due to any cause at any time. We have 2nd Thursday of the month evening meetings (which include special resources for the bereaved) and special events where we can share about and/or be supported in our deep grief journeys.
If you would like more information or "just to talk" (perhaps about the specialness of Jessica), you're invited and encouraged to contact me,
Joanna Rose-Murray, @ 209-484-8276

My prayers and healing thoughts are with you during the difficult deep grief journey.
May you be experiencing some blessings along the way (including at your celebration of Jessica's 18th birthday),
Joanna
