Jessie Faye Sousa, 83, went to be with her Lord on Fri., Nov. 24, with her husband by her side.
She was born on Beckett Mountain in Arkansas on Dec. 15, 1933. After moving to Turlock, CA, she graduated from Hilmar High School in 1951.
She met the love of her life, Joe Sousa and they were married Sep. 20, 1952.
Jessie was preceded in death by brothers, Dwayne Leach & Johnny Leach; sisters, Arvella Leach & Robbie Brown-Skinner; son, Christopher Sousa; daughter, Debbie Ruse; and grandson, Evan Sousa.
Left to remember her love and life are her husband of 65 years, Joe Sousa; her sisters, Marilyn Martin, Jill Ryan and sister-in-law Marcia Reynolds; her children, Joe (Valerie) Sousa, Eddie Sousa and Bobby (Karol) Sousa; children-in-law Gary Ruse and Allison & Dave Sutton; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends invited to attend her services at Turlock Funeral Home, 425 N. Soderquist Rd., Turlock. A visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wed., Nov. 29. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thur., Nov. 30. For information contact Jill Klajic-Ryan 209-743-8097.

One does not have to wonder ! One just knows that Heaven has gained another Angel. Jessie was a great person that I will always remember. I have many, many fond memories of our families getting together back in the day. My heart goes out to you all & May God bring you much peace & comfort during this difficult time & always & may he bless you all each and every day!

Jessie worked in my department,Medical Records, at Emanuel. She was a good employee and friend. She had a great sense of humor.
