John A. Cardoza, age 85, of Waterford, California passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2017. John was born December 5, 1931 in Snelling, California to Maria Augusta Amaro and John Luis Cardoza.
John is survived by: his wife Donna J. Cardoza of Waterford; son Mark Anthony Cardoza and his wife Kelly Cardoza of Waterford; son James Young and his wife Amber Young of Oklahoma; and daughter Daffiney Cardoza of Hilmar.
John was preceded in death by his daughter Vicky Sue McCarthy and his parents John Luis Cardoza and Maria Augusta Amaro.
A memorial service for John will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 13, 2017 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church: 8471 Cypress Street, Hilmar, CA 95324. He will be laid to rest at North Hilmar Cemetery District: 8710 N. Tegner Rd. Hilmar, CA 95354.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations be made in John's name to the Holy Rosary Catholic Church of Hilmar New Church Building fund: 8471 Cypress Street Hilmar, CA 95324, or the Hospice of Emanuel: 1850 Colorado Avenue Turlock, CA 95382.
All services and arrangements are under the direction of Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service.
