Jon Taylor Obituary
February 24, 1955- March 19, 2012
Born in Pasedena, Ca. Jon lived in Southern Ca., Florida, Reno and Hawaii, Resided in Modesto, Ca. for 30 years. He was a General Contractor, Building Inspector and Truck Driver. In his younger years he surfed, hang glided, skied and was a private pilot. In his last few years he enjoyed building his strip canoe, fishing on the Stanislaus with his dogs Harry and Earl, building another jet boat to enjoy on the river, boating and jetsking at the lake with his family and friends and taking trips on his Harley with his wife, playing and enjoying his grandchildren.
His Family was his life. He took of care of them all, and was always willing to help anyone in need. He was a force of nature, a dynmo.Survided by his wife Karri Taylor, his sons Joseph Taylor, Justin Dansby, daughter Angela Long and their spouses Yessenia Guerrero and Anthony Long, mother Jane Zanutto. His three grandchildren, Karina Rose, Andrew and Pierre. You were our planet and we all orbited around you. Thank You for your strength and your generous big heart. We will cherish the love.

I just learned thru searching for Jon that he had passed away, I met Jon on my first construction site he was the first foreman that I had the pleasure to work with and then worked for him when he went into business for himself, through the years we lost touch then our paths crossed again in 2003-2004 on a job site building cabins. Jon was a great guy and fair man to work for, I wish we could have stayed in touch over the years. I will always remember his taking the time to teach me the trade that I still us to this day.
