Juanita Boyd Obituary

JUANITA CARROLL BOYD
JUL 8, 1939 - FEB 13, 2013
Juanita Carroll Boyd of Delhi, CA, passed away peacefully at Avalon Care Center in Modesto, CA on February 13, 2013, with family by her side.
Juanita was just a little thing (4'7" - 80 lbs), but she was huge on personality and left a big impact wherever she went. She loved flea markets and collected everything and anything, and she loved singing. You never knew when she would break out in song and dance. Her favorite color was purple because she said "that was the color her Savior wore." Preceded in death by her parents, Marcus & Ora Choate; brother Udell Choate; sister, Wannell Nightengale; and husband, Leon Boyd, all of Delhi, CA. She is survived by her brother, Dock Choate of OK; sister, Jewell Baker of Wynnewood, OK; sister Helen Gore of Delhi, CA; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was loved by many and will be missed by us all.
Services will be held on Saturday, March 2 at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Grounds Ministry Church, 305 Canal Dr., Turlock, CA.
