She was married to Albert Kauluhaimalama Akiona, Jr. from 1960 to 1977. A dedicated operator for GTE for many years, Kehaulani worked alongside Renette (Kehau) Akiona and Albert Akiona III. Her coworkers brought joy and companionship into her life.
Kehaulani was a heroine to her children-steadfast and nurturing through every challenge. She embraced life's journey with grace, independence, strength, and unwavering love.
She is preceded in death and reunited with her loving daughter Renette Kehaulani Akiona; brothers-Robert Mossman Jr., Charles Simmons, Stephen Spencer Mossman, Reynard Keala Mossman, Jon C. Mossman, and Francis C. Mossman; sisters-Keali'ilalanikulani Lalani Mossman Segool and Joann Leilehua Mossman Jackson. She is survived by sons Reyn Kauluhaimalama Akiona and Albert (Cas) Kauluhaimalama Akiona III; daughters Carrie Diedre Kealaonaona Akiona (Dennis) Storlie and Dori Ann Pilialoha Akiona (Warren) Rutledge; brother Bruce Mossman; sisters Kim Lan Della Simmons-Connon (Bob) and Sui Lan Kaohi Holland; grandchildren Tiffanie-Ann Kau'ilani (Daniel) Akiona-Versola, Jessica Kapuananio'hawaiil (Eli) Rhodes, Dale Kealiikala Storlie, Luke Ikaika Storlie, Alexandria Kawehiokalani (Michael) Paz, Warren Reid Kamaluokalani Rutledge, Roderick Keali'imana Rutledge, Natazsa Tauni Pali Lehmann, Benson Bodie Pali, and Christian Haku Pali; and great-grandchildren Ian Maka'ike'olalanilaula Akiona, Joy Kawena'okalani Versola, Eli James Kalei'okalanikaumaka Versola, Garrett Kupa'apono Akiona, Liliana Izel Vasquez, Chloe Kealohilani Paz, Natalie Makana'aloha Paz, Leon Pomaika'i Ka Po Akahai Rhodes, and Jada Aloha I Ka Lokomaika'i Rhodes.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Franklin and Downs, located at 1050 McHenry Avenue, Modesto, CA 95350. Doors will open at 2:00 p.m.
