Kirk Walser Obituary
May 17, 1940 - Jan 9, 2018
Kirk Alan Walser passed away peacefully at the Alexander Cohen Hospice Center. He was 77 years old. He was born in Hollywood, CA.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sharon Walser; and his daughter Lisa Walser; and one nephew and two nieces.
Kirk graduated from Downey High School in 1959, he then went to Modesto Jr. College and graduated in 1971. As he was still in college, he went to work for the Stanislaus County Library, where he drove the Bookmobile until he retired in 1986 due to health problems.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Dorothy Walser, and his sister Karen Pearson.
A special thank you to his caregiver and friend, Cynthia Stewart.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at his home from 1:30-4:00pm. Come anytime between those hours. Finger sandwiches from Subway and snacks will be served. Address is 3612 Colonial Dr., Modesto, CA.
His ashes will be scattered in Pacific Grove, CA.
