Kristian Valdovinos Obituary

Kristian VALDOVINOS
"Warrior of God"
Born May 23, 1994 - earned his wings April 25, 2016
Kristian was born in Modesto, CA to Ramiro Valdovinos and Theofilia Lopez of Modesto, CA.
Kristian was a son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, a "fighter, warrior of God." He leaves behind a legacy of irreplaceable memories and a void no one can replace. He will be dearly missed by all those he touched.
Not only was Kristian a "man of God," he was a father figure to his siblings, and a caregiver to his grandparents, a mentor to the youth he touched through his words of wisdom, ministries and his passion for martial arts.
Kristian is survived by his father, Ramiro Valdovinos, mother, Theofilia Lopez, brother, Johnathan Valdovinos, sister, Janae Reeves, girlfriend, Michelle Alba, paternal grandparents, Jose and Maria Valdovinos, maternal grandparents, Victorino and Felizitas Lopez, all of Modesto, CA.
"Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free, I'm following the path God laid for me. I took his hand when I heard him call, I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day, to laugh, to love, to work or play. Tasks left undone, must stay that way. I found that place at the close of day. If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joys and memories. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, ah yes, these things I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow. I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full, I've savored much. Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief, don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your heart and share with me. God called me home, now I've gained my wings, I am your Angel."
A viewing will be held Mon., May 2, 4-8pm at Salas Brothers. Funeral Service Tues., May 3, 10am, Salas Brothers, burial to follow,  Celebration of Life to follow burial, from 3-7pm at Victory Life Center.
