Lance Lawson Obituary
February 7, 1960 - March 7, 2018
Lance Lee Lawson passed away on March 7, 2018 in Modesto, CA at the age of 58. He was born on February 7, 1960 in Fresno, CA. Lance attended and graduated from Grace M. Davis High School and Modesto Junior College. Lance also took several classes at California State University, Stanislaus. He was a computer teacher at ITT Tech and currently worked at Monschien Industries for which he loved. He loved life! He enjoyed motorcycles, jet skiing on the Colorado River and fast cars. Lance was also an avid animal lover. He was adored by his grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Richard Welch and great-grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Earl Colson, all who have preceded him in death. He is survived by his mother, DeAnn Welch Von Rotz and her husband, Carl; Beau Foder of Iowa and many friends. He was a candle in the wind. In lieu of services and flowers a donation in honor of Lance Lawson can be made to the local SPCA, 4733 Yosemite Blvd, Modesto, CA.

I didn´t get to see Lance very often, but I enjoyed his kindness when we did visit. He was a good cousin and a great listener. I was sad to learn of his passing so late.

Lance and I were good friends as kids attending Franklin Elementary school and then Davis High...We would see each other from time to time and talk about days past, I still remember his Mom's Corvette from back in the day! God bless you Lance, it's been almost two years since our last contact, I had no idea....
