Larry "Skip" Gunn

July 5, 1945 - June 18, 2025

Modesto, California - Larry "Skip" Gunn, a lifelong resident of Modesto, died Wednesday, June 18th, 2025, at Riverview Post Acute nursing home, where he was happy and was lovingly cared for. Larry was employed for much of his life by the Stanislaus Union School District. He was a volunteer fireman for many years for the Burbank Paradise Fire Department. He was a member of the Waterford Fishermen's Club and the Good Sam trailer club. His parents, Mary and Jim Gunn, predeceased him in 2010 and 2016 respectively, as did his brother Harold, who died in 1996. He is survived by his sister, Peggy Gunn, and his nephews and niece Ron Gunn, Paul Gunn, Scott Gunn, Christopher Gunn and Becky Gunn Nielsen.

Graveside service on July 2nd, 2025 at Lakewood Memorial Park, 900 Santa Fe Avenue, Hughson, with a reception to follow.
