Turlock, California - The family of Lincoln Wachira Waitiki of Turlock, CA, is sad to announce his sudden and untimely death on September 25, 2024, in Modesto, CA. Lincoln was born in Kenya in October, 1954. With his young family, his ex-wife Wambui Wainaina and their two beloved children, Waringa Esther Waitiki and Eric Waitiki, Lincoln immigrated to the CA, USA in 1985 and settled in Turlock in Stanislaus County. He earned a BA in Finance from CSU Stanislaus and a MA in Counselling Psychology from National University. Lincoln worked for the counties of Stanislaus and San Joaquin before settling into his final career as a licensed marriage and family therapist.
Lincoln, leaves behind his cherished daughter, Waringa Esther Waitiki of Sacramento, CA, and many fond memories of his departed son, Eric Waitiki of Modesto, CA. His siblings, most of whom, reside in Kenya and two sisters of Seattle, WA , extended family, and friends, shall carry his legacy of hard work and his faith in God.

Mr. Lincoln was my therapist and such a nice man. He helped me in so many ways and I appreciate that. He was there for me whenever I needed him. I´m so sorry to hear about his passing. I´m shocked! My condolences to his family, I pray that God gives you strength at this time of grief.

I am so sorry to hear of Lincoln´s passing. Lincoln helped my young son out of dark days. Lincoln has helped me through difficult times in my life and has helped other family and friends of mine. I referred my staff to him when they were facing challenges. Lincoln was a beautiful soul who had a way of making connections with others. I am so sad for his daughter and family in Africa in which he fondly shared about. I´m so sad that myself and others will not have his shoulder to lean on any longer.
