Dear Larry, Troy and family:
I want to let you know that I thought the service you held for Linda was touching and lovely...so appropriate for her. It was wonderful to see the slide show of your last trips together. And equally wonderful to hear how close you were and how brave she was in those final days.
The shared memories portion of the service brought Linda closer to me in spirit, and made me wish once again, that we had been closer in life.
Though I've always felt 'outside the circle' family-wise, whenever we did meet at some family gathering, Linda always managed to make me feel that she was truly happy to see me. Her smile was real, her hugs were warm and genuine.
I, too, was one Linda occasionally 'babysat' when I was younger. Not because she had to, but because I just wanted to come visit her. She was fun and made me laugh. I remember two things from those early years: Helping Linda give Tracy a milk bath because her skin was so sensitive, and how proud Linda was of her; and helping her make lunch for Larry while we listened to Elvis on the record player. She said she loved 2 men in her life, Elvis Presley and Larry Gray. I never forgot that. I thought it was funny then, I find it very touching now.
I wish my husband Steve and I could have stayed longer at the service to speak with you then. I would like to keep in touch, and would like very much to have your addresses and phone numbers. If you wish, please email them to me.
May God bless you and lift you up in this very sad time. Hugs to you all.
Cousin.

Dear Larry and Troy,
I just heard that Linda passed away and wished I had known earlier, I would have loved to be there to see you all. Michelle called and told me she had passed away after the funeral. My family and I are doing well, we now live near Columbia, and my three boys go to columbia elementary school. Randy and I bought 6 acres with an older home, beautiful views, we have pigs and chickens, dogs and cats.
I just wanted you to know how much I cared for Linda, we really got along so well, she used to make me laugh, and was in many ways a second mom to me. She was alot of fun and a great conversationalist. I hope you are all well, Please send me a a card with your addresses so I can mail christmas cards. Hello to all,
Liane
