Lorenzo built beautiful cabinets for our kitchen. Most impressive was the reddish brown mahogany doors that give us such pleasure in our kitchen.
Also, I will never forget being his guest in Ono Degno, his hometown close to the Swiss border.
Especially, I remember him, perhaps he was eighty, clamoring down a nearby hill while his son Marco and I watched in amazement and then we followed him down--cautiously!

Dear Dusi family, I am sorry that his time was here. He was such a kind and smart man. I never did take the time to spend one more time with him.and of course now wish I had. Respectfully yours.
