Mark Brittain Obituary

Mark Brittain
December 30, 1957 - June 26, 2021
Modesto, California - Mark Albert Brittain, 63, passed away at his home in Modesto, CA on June 26, 2021. He was born to Lilly Anne (Baker) Frayne and given up for adoption at a very young age. He was raised by Albert Lee Brittain and Carol Jean (Rosenburg) Brittain of Gilroy, CA. He lived a very happy childhood and was loved by all he met. Mark enlisted in the U.S. Air Force as a Jet Engine Mechanic and later started a family of his own. He was a man who tried very hard to be a good father, son, brother, and friend. What little money he had went to his family and anything left was donated to numerous charities, churches, and shelters. Mark leaves behind his ex-wife Debora (Newton) Brittain, daughter Andrea Brittain and son David Brittain with two grandchildren. He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Julie (Brittain) Jones, Sharon (Brittain) Andritsis, Kevin Frayne, Tim Frayne, Sally Frayne and Amy Frayne. He was preceded in death by his sisters Melanie (Frayne) Hicks and Irene Frayne. Mark received military honors at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella, CA on July 9, 2021. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. May he rest forever in the arms of the Lord.
