Marvin Fred Clayton, 83, entered into rest on March 26, 2013 in Modesto, CA. He was born on February 23, 1930 in Texas. He leaves behind his loving wife Elizabeth Jane Clayton, his children Diane Marie Gallegos, Michael Lloyd Clayton, Sharian Lynn Juneau, Marlin Charles Clayton, Gary Steven Clayton, Thomas John Clayton, Edward Paul Clayton, David Fred Clayton, Robert Joseph Clayton, and Donald Dwight Clayton. He will also be missed by his grandchildren Vincent Gallegos Albuquerque, Melanie Crump, Michelle Clayton, Michael Clayton, Kimberly Clayton, Timothy Clayton, Tony Clayton, Tiffany Clayton, Victoria Isabel Clayton, Dianna Clayton, Christopher Clayton, Kevin Clayton, Trevor Clayton, Augustus Clayton, and Lucas Clayton. Marvin was a proud veteran for the U.S. Air Force. He was a local machinist, and spent the last 60 years in Modesto. He will be missed dearly by so many friends and family. Franklin & Downs Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.  A Graveside Service will be held on Monday  -   April 1, 2013 at 1:30 P.M. at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery  -  32053 West McCabe Road in Gustine.
