Ceres, California - Mary Castro, age 74, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 2, 2022. She was born November 30, 1947 in Santo Tomas, New Mexico to Pedro & Luisa Lujan. She is survived by her children, Patricia, Adam, Robert, Lisa and Richard. She has 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grand children. She has siblings in California, New Mexico & Texas.
She was a graduate of Las Cruces High class of 1966. She was employed at Walmart in Ceres for 25 years. Mary was loving, compassionate & had a gentle, kind spirit. She was well known as a prankster. She also enjoyed dancing, gardening & always had a smile on her face. She was loved by many! She will truly be missed!
A Memorial service will be held November 30th at 4 PM at The House 1601 Coffee Rd, Modesto, CA 95355. Followed by a Reception at 6 PM at Sylvan Improvement Club 2545 Sylvan Ave, Modesto, CA 95357.

There are no words that can express the sadness we all feel for this loss you are a Mother to us all you never treated any of us any less then your own children always on our helmets pushing us to do better feeding us showing us nothing but love even when you got mad at us especially Adam but we knew you just wanted us to do better then what we was doing and I'm sorry for all the stress we caused you and I appreciate you for putting up with all the dumb stuff we did we all we're your kids and that's how we feel to this day and will feel forever you will be missed and cherished by many especially me Mom I love you and my condolences to Adam,Robert,Richard and Lisa as well as the rest of Family

Mama Mary, I have so many good memories about you that I will cherish always. Going to your house all the time when I was a teenager hanging out with Lisa. You were always so kind and loving to us girls. Sometimes got on to us because we were brats back then lol, but you were just being a mom. You made me feel so comfortable that I even called you mama. I will never forget you and your beautiful smile. You will forever be in my heart! Love you mama! Fly with the angels.
