MICHAEL P. FERREL, JR. OCT. 19, 1981 - SEPT. 24, 2001
Michael, it has been 2 years today since you left us although the pain is still felt as though it were yesterday. There are so many times that we expect you to walk through the door or call.
Your daughter Makaila is now 15 months old, and she is a beautiful reflection of you. She looks at your picture whenever we say ``Daddy``. Your memory is held close so that you are really never far from us. Your nephews miss the wrestling matches you used to have with them. They constantly talk about you and will never forget you.
Time passes by, but the pain we feel remains the same. One day we will all be together, until then, we continue to live each day, missing you. We have wonderful memories of you, and will hold them close to our hearts always.
In our hearts, you will live on.

My second family, I want you to know I love you all very much. And I thank you for everything you do for me and Makaila. I feel the same pain that you feel and I always pray that Mikey will help me through it. And I know he is with me and his daughter. And also with you guys.
