Neil Hollander Obituary

NEIL HOLLANDER JUN 3, 1949 - OCT 26, 2010 Neil Hollander, 61, died unexpectedly October 26, 2010 at his home. Neil graduated from Modesto High in 1968. In his lifetime he worked as a cook, merchant marine, baker, commercial fisherman, butcher, salesman, and most notably a squab grower. He was truly a Jack-of-all-Trades. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Helen; daughters Christine Hollander and Erika Durrer; son-in-law Erik Durrer; nephew Steven Hollander; and niece Heidi Hollander-Matlock. He was preceded in death by parents Harry and Elizabeth 'Betty' Hollander, and brother Larry Hollander. Visitation Monday, Nov. 1st from 4-8pm. Rosary at 6:30pm, Salas Bros, 419 Scenic Dr. Modesto, CA. Services Tuesday, Nov. 2nd at 1:00pm, Salas Bros Chapel. He will be laid to rest at St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
