Oklahoma City, Oklahoma - On Saturday, September 4, 2021, Patricia Brubaker Boatman-Janopaul, beloved mother and grandmother passed away in Oklahoma City at the age of 89 after a brief bout with cancer.
Pat was born on November 6, 1931 to Larry and Lorraine Brubaker in Stockton, CA. She attended Modesto High School and Modesto Junior College. She married Charles E. Boatman, Jr. They were the parents of 4 children, Jana, Jeffrey, Jon, and James, 12 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. After Charley passed away in 1996, Pat married Richard M. Janopaul in 2001.
Pat devoted 45 years of her life to teaching piano, preschool music, and even spent 12 years as the Chorus Teacher at Everett Elementary School.
She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where she served in numerous assignments with children, youth, and adults. She especially loved being part of the Girls' Camp program. In her retirement years, she was able to serve in the Oakland Temple and the Oklahoma Temple for nearly 17 years.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles, her brother Michael, and her grandson Bryan Jeffrey (BJ) Boatman.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Janopaul, her children Jana (Reed) Adamson, Jeff (Anne) Boatman, Jon (Ale) Boatman, and James (Terri) Boatman, her grandchildren, great grandchildren as well as beloved nieces, nephews, and step daughters.
Graveside services will be held Friday, Sept. 17th at 2:30 PM at Lakewood Memorial Park in Hughson. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 18th at 1 PM at the LDS Chapel in Hughson at 1930 Seventh Street. All are welcome. Eaton Family Funeral is handling the arrangements.

Hugs & Prayers of comfort to all family & friends!
Pat was truly a joy to be around!!
She had so much love for others!
And especially patience, with my girls, who took piano lessons from her! Lol!
The girls all loved her at Girls Camp each year, she made it not only spiritual, but fun!!
She loved her friends & family & I know she will be missed by all
