July 16, 1936 - October 27, 2023
Modesto, California - Patricia Marks was born and raised in Modesto California where highlights included dancing at the World's Fair at 4 years old, working diligently at her schoolwork and meeting the love of her life, Roger, at Downey High School.
What started as a prom date blossomed into a wonderful life filled with children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, travel to Hawaii and Europe and countless other fun events with their many friends. They spent much of their time at their homes in Modesto and at Pebble Beach and hosted gatherings there for friends and family.
Pat enjoyed her bridge groups, cooking, gardening and Nana Pat was always up for playing card games with her grandchildren. She will be remembered fondly for her sense of humor, positive attitude, wonderful home cooked meals, and most of all for being a loving wife and mother.
Patricia was survived by her husband Roger; three children Robert (Cindy), Bart (Susan) and Rebecca; nine grandchildren Ryan (Abby), Randy (Megan), Neil (Elyse), Andrew, Haley, Adam (Faith), Connor, Mitchell and Alec; and eight great grandchildren Jeremy, Luke, Logan, Trey, Hope, Eli, EllaRose and Roger.
Memorial Service will take place at Franklin & Downs Funeral Home on McHenry Avenue on Friday, November 3 at 3:00 PM.
Instead of sending flowers, we would prefer you make a donation to the Salvation Army in memory of Patricia Marks.
