Patrick Oates Obituary

Patrick Stanley Oates passed peacefully in Washington surrounded by his loving family at the age of 59 years. He was born to Maurice & Erminia Oates on June 5, 1955 in Turlock, CA. He grew up in Delhi and graduated from Livingston High School in 1973. He served in the Army (1974-1983) and was stationed in Germany, Washington, and Hawaii. He was last employed by ASC Agrecom.
Pat's family never doubted his love for them. He supported them unconditionally. His smile and laugh were contagious and everyone fortunate to meet him was a friend. His life revolved around his family and friends. He also enjoyed the Raiders, bowling and fishing.
He leaves behind to cherish so many awesome memories his fiancé Karen Barros the spouses & families of daughters Stephanie Nunez and Katrina Diaz, Step children Scotty Norman, Christy Barros, Jeannie Estacio & Beverly Barros, 14 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and 3 brothers Lee, Rocke, & Dan.
A memorial service will be held at Turlock Memorial Park on Saturday, April 18th at 1:00 p.m.

I have such great memories with the Oates Family, We are family and will always remember the great picnics, the fish pond , and many hours of fun in Uncle Mo's back yard. Life goes by so fast and i cannot believe you are gone, God must have needed you in heaven , i am sure you are bowling with your parents and laughing it up. You will never be forgotten, your kindness and love for your family will live on here on earth and we will all be together again. Love you and tell my dad your Uncle Sal that i miss and love him. I love this family with all my heart, have been with you pretty much my whole life! Have the greatest memories bowling with "Uncle Pat" or "Patricia" as I liked to call him. Or when he would tell my brother he was kicking his van in "turbo" when we were kids. He was there for me when I needed it as my mom passed and I will never forget that. I will miss you and that laugh so much. Give my mom a great big hug for me, and have a drink!

I spent a lot of time with Pat and his family in middle school. They were some of the first people we met when my family moved to Delhi. It was a lot of fun bowling and giving him a hard time about the Raiders. RIP Pat. You will definitely be missed.
