Paul Irizarry Obituary
February 16, 1986 - February 7, 2022
Modesto, California - Paul was born and raised in Modesto, CA, the beloved son of Balvino Irizarry and Kathleen Alexander Irizarry, treasured younger brother to David Irizarry (Jaleesa) of Marietta, GA and Carolyn Estridge (Nicholas) of Mountain House, CA. He attended Rose Avenue Elementary School, La Loma Jr. High, and Downey High School. He graduated with a B.A. in Economics from the California University in Long Beach. After working in the food and beverage industry and construction in the Long Beach area he decided to get a teaching credential and teach High School Math. His choice of subject was not a surprise as he demonstrated to us his aptitude for Math at the very young age of three. It was no surprise that he qualified for the GATE Program for Modesto City Schools. He participated in many sports including Soccer, Baseball, Wrestling, Cross Country, Tennis, and Rugby. He was proud to have been the Downey High School President in his Senior Year.
Along with teaching High School in Stockton and El Dorado Hills, he developed a passion and expertise in building and piloting drones. He created the company Elevated Media and along with Orbit Productions was one of the first to introduce drone technology to utilize drone footage in political and agricultural videos.
Paul will be dearly missed for always being the sweet gentle heart of his family, a loyal and trusted friend to many, and a devoted companion to his German Shepard Duke.
A service will be held on Saturday, February 19th, at 11:00 a.m. at Franklin and Downs Funeral Home at 1050 McHenry Ave. in Modesto, CA.

Today I received the devastating news of Paul´s passing. My heart is broken. My sincerest condolences, thoughts & prayers go out to Balvino, Kathleen & the entire family. I still remember the days I worked at AMS and Paul would come in to lend us a hand. Always so playful, so kind, & ready to help out. I am blessed to have met such wonderful person. May the Lord give the Irizarry family strength to get through this pain. Rest In Peace Paul.
