Priscilla Victoria West passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2013. She is survived by her husband, David West, two sons, Dean Paul and Wayde Lucian West, parents, Paul and Joyce Rubia and siblings, Shelby, Miles and Macey. Funeral services will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home in the Riverside Chapel, 900 Santa Fe Ave. Hughson CA. 95326. Visitation on Tuesday, Apr. 2nd from 4-8:00pm. Funeral service on Wednesday, Apr. 3rd at 10:00am. She was loved and will be deeply missed by many family and friends whose lives she touched. Guest book available online at www.lakewoodhughson.com

There are no words to truly explain the amazing person you are. I had the pleasure of being your friend for just more than a year. In that year you helped me so much. I miss talking to you. Even when we couldn't really talk because both our kids were being so loud and crazy we could barely hear each other on the phone, it was still always worth the phone call. No matter what kind of day I was having you made sure that before I walked away I was laughing. Everyone has friends throughout their lives, but not everyone's friends leave such a beautiful impression on their hearts as you did. I miss you so much, and I can't wait to see you on the other side, then we can have a cup of coffee (and a donut ??) and a good laugh.

My heartfelt condolences to all of you, Priscilla's family. This is a bitter/sweet time, we miss and hurt for our loved ones who pass on but the knowledge that there is a wonderful celebration going on in Heaven with family and friends who have gone before is a comforting thought. It comforted me when my 19 year old son died in a motorcycle accident. May our Heavenly Father's choices blessings be with each and every one of you at this time of your sorrow. (Joyce's hula sister)

My prayers are with all who mourn the lost of this sweet girl. I remember her kindness and laughter. I know she will be missed. It's still so hard to accept this and I didn't even know her well. She was a friend of my friend and the impact she made in my life just from always being so nice and pleasant to be around makes my heart not want to believe she could be gone. I remember when Priscilla was a little girl coming to watch Joyce play softball. She was a beautiful young girl who grew up into a beautiful young lady. I will always remember her smile that would light up a room. Priscilla, now you are in Heaven with our Lord and Savior. I always loved her beautiful smile and laughter. I have known 'Cilla since she was a seventeen year old girl that raided our refrigerator and "hung out" with the kids. I remember her wedding and the birth of her boys. Her passing is too soon and we will miss her terribly.

I was listening to the beattles earlier today and it reminded me soo much of u bc u never stopped playing their music in the branch, i threw a big smiled and thank God for allowing me to meet such a wonderful person n my life, the last time i saw u, u gave me a BIG hug (a cilla hug) we told eachother how much we missed eachother... it was hilarious how u picked up the "no" from reyna and how u tried.to speak spanish, u sounded like a white chick trying to speak spanish lol.... will miss u but will see u along with our LOrd and savior the one who decides to give and take away... ur now rejoicing with him. we all love u and miss u !!! xoxo

I had the honor of being Cilla's fifth grade teacher. From day one, I knew how special she was! What a bright, beautiful, funny, spunky little gal! Because she had been my oldest son's classmate for a few years, I had already met her. However, having her as a student -so eager to learn- was such a treat! I loved this girl so much and always joked with her about one day marrying my son so I could have her always. My heart is heavy thinking of her parents and young family. I,too, will always hear her great laugh and see her brilliant smile in my mind. This world will miss you Bright Star. Your teacher who loved you and was so blessed to know you.
