Richard Jacobs Obituary

Richard "Jake" Jacobs
Feb 8, 1933 - Jul 22, 2018
Jake was born in Modesto, CA to Charles and Ruth Jacobs. He had two older brothers, Bill Jacobs who preceded him in death, and he is survived by his brother Jim Jacobs, who was not only his brother but his best friend.
Jake is also survived by his wife of 63 years, Louise Jacobs. Three children; Danny Jacobs, Sharon Ney and Patte (Randy) Albracht. Four grandchildren, Krista, Kayce, Timothy and Whittne, and 5 great grandchildren along with his dog Macy. Jake served in the U.S. Navy and then became employed and worked in the HVAC industry where he became a member of the Plumbers & Pipe Fitters Local Union #442. In his younger years he had a passion for motorcycles, camping and fishing. He loved anything that had a motor and went fast. He was known to many as Big Daddy and he could fix anything just ask any of his nieces, nephews, kids and friends. If it was fixable he could fix it. We will miss you "Big Daddy" and you will forever be in our hearts.
There will be no services per his wishes but a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
