February 12, 1944 - November 17, 2023
Ripon, California - Robert Mathew White, 79, of Ripon California, peacefully passed away surrounded by loved ones on November 17, 2023.
Born on February 12, 1944, to Louise N. And Darrell E. White of Modesto, California, He grew up there, graduating from Thomas Downey High School in 1961 and attending Modesto Junior College.
Robert pursued a career in the family business, Safe-T-Lite of Modesto Inc. founded by his father in 1959. In 1977, he acquired the business from his parents.
For the last six years of his life, Robert lived in Ripon, California, and was a member of Spring Creek Golf and Country Club.
Known for his honesty, kindness, and generosity, he touched the lives of everyone he encountered.
A beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Robert will be remembered for his competitive spirit and loyalty.
Survived by his wife Janet of 59 years, their children Jeffrey (Kris) of Turlock, Scott (Alicia), and grandchild Kyle of Modesto, as well as Brother Dennis (Kathleen) of Big Canoe, Georgia, and four nieces and nephews.
He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents Darrell and Louise White.
Robert's memorial service will be held on January 20, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Modesto Covenant Church - 913 Floyd Avenue, Modesto, CA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Community Hospice 4368 Spyres Way - Modesto, CA 95356
