Ryan Corey McGowan, age 4, of Ripon entered into Heaven on May 23, 2013.  Ryan leaves behind his loving parents, Corey and Carolyn McGowan, and three siblings, Devin(11), Lauren(9) and Keirsten(8).  He also leaves behind his Grandparents: Jeannette Hall( Ripon), William Hall (Ripon), Callie Garcin(Riverbank) and Gordon McGowan(Riverbank), as well as his aunts and uncle: Michelle and Jesse Evango and Desiree and Jennifer McGowan.
Ryan was a sweet loving boy with a contagious smile that could light up the room.  Ryan loved playing with his Cars, Toy Story toys and loved to watch any Disney or Pixar movie.  He also loved to play with his brother and sisters, and loved hugs and kisses from his Mommy and Daddy.  Ryan had so many special friendships with so many people, but had an extra special bond with his "girl friend" Taylor Byrne.  Every person who ever knew Ryan fell in love with him.  From his doctors and nurses to people who just heard his story.  Ryan always said the funniest things and made everyone laugh.  Ryan will be missed by so many people and will be loved forever.  Ryan was an extra special little boy that will live on in all of our hearts.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2013, from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at Deegan Ripon Memorial Chapel.  A Memorial Service will be Friday, May 31, 2013, at 11:00 at Calvary Reformed Church in Ripon followed by a Graveside Service at Ripon Cemetery.  Remembrances can be made to UCSF Children's Hospital, Child Life Dept.,  505 Parnassus, San Francisco, CA, 94143.
