Susan Simms Obituary

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Susan Renee Simms on October 3, 2015. Susan was courageous in her enduring fight for life after sustaining injuries from a car accident in 1992. Susan was truly an inspiration in her efforts to remain on this earth with her family and friends.
Susan was a free spirit, fun loving, beautiful person who touched countless individuals with her character and beautiful smile. Susan will be forever missed and loved by those fortunate to be part of her life. Susan has now found peace and has gone home to be with our Lord.
Susan is survived by parents, Monika and Larry Haskin and Dennis Simms; her sister Kristen Simms Winton (Ryan), her brothers Peter Haskin (Katrina) and Nick Haskin, grandmother Trudy Proctor, 3 nieces and a nephew, numerous aunts and uncles and cousins.
We love you so much and you will forever be in our hearts - - Rest in Peace our beautiful Susan.

A Rosary will be held Friday, October 16, 2015 at 9:30 am at St. Patrick's Catholic Church followed by a memorial mass at 10 am.

Susan brought light to everyone she came in touch with. She was a good friend. Middle school our friend Julie ,Cindy, i would go by her house and finish walking to school. (Even though she lived next to the school)
She is truly missed and gone too soon.

Susan was a beautiful great friend. I remember her living like 4 doors down from Cindy Marshall Pemberton and we use to walk to school together. Susan always had a smile which would brighten anyone's day.
You will always be in our hearts and memories.Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

My thoughts are with your family at this time ! It has been many years since I had spent time with Susie however I will never forget how very kind and sweet she was to me . her smile lit up a room! I was amazed at the bond she and Kristen shared , after spending a day with both girls. I remember hoping my children would grow up to be just like their cousins ... My memories will always bring a smile thinking of susie!My heart aches for your family and my thoughts and prayers are with you all!
