Modesto, California - Terry Ann (Busick) McCullough passed away May 18, 2023 at home with family by her side. She is preceded in death by her parents Jerald and Jeanette Busick (Jamestown,Ca) and son Douglas McCullough (Ripon,Ca) Terry was born in Wichita Falls, Texas. She became a wonderful big sister to Jerald "Newt" Busick (Denver Co). After receiving her Bachelors and teaching credential from Cal State Hayward Terry began teaching elementary school. She met the love of her life, Richard, and in 1967 they were married and settled in San Leandro, Ca. Starting a new adventure, they moved to Modesto,Ca in 1972. Terry chose to stay home and raise their family. In 1982, she began substitute teaching at Stanislaus Union Elementary School and was very active with the parents' club. Terry later ran and was elected to the Stanislaus Union School District School Board. Through these endeavors, she made priceless friendships. Terry continued with community service, being part of multiple non profit organizations. For her entertainment, Terry took up golf, which usually followed up with an after lunch bridge game. The McCullough's were members of the Spring Creek Golf and Country club for over 25 years. Terry had many dear friends and was loved by many for her wit and humor. She was a proud grandma to Tyler Posey (Ashland,OR), Connor Posey, (Modesto,Ca) Bryan and Makenzie McCullough (Ripon,Ca). She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Richard McCullough (Modesto,Ca), daughter Christine (McCullough) Cole, son-in-law Eric Cole (Modesto,Ca) and daughter-in-law Krista (Kamper) McCullough (Ripon,Ca). Terry will be laid to rest with her parents at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward,Ca.
