Thomas Bryant Obituary

Thomas L. Bryant

March 25, 1959 - July 31, 2025

Modesto, California - Thomas L. Bryant, a beloved husband, father, pappy, and friend, was called home to the Lord on July 31, 2025, at the age of 66. Born in Modesto, California, on March 25, 1959, Tom lived a life deeply rooted in his unwavering faith in Jesus Christ and his devoted love for family and friends.

Tom's journey was marked by integrity, wisdom, and a tireless work ethic. His steadfast faith guided his steps, and his words and actions left a lasting impression on all who knew him. Whether in business or in friendship, Tom was known for telling the trutheven when it was hard to hearbecause he believed that's what a true friend does.

Tom began his career at EF Hutton in January 1984, where he quickly earned a reputation for deep listening, strategic thinking, and ethical leadership. In 2004, he followed a clear calling to create a more client-centered approach and founded The Investment Consulting Group. Under his leadership, the firm grew into a trusted advisory practice serving individuals, families, businesses, and retirement plans throughout the region. He retired in January 2025, leaving behind a legacy of wisdom, care, and service and a team in place to carry those qualities on.

Tom also served in Modesto Sunrise Rotary since 2000, and as President from 2017-18, Tom once summed up his commitment to Rotary as this, "Rotary opens the door around the world to usher in the gospel in places that would be closed to Christians."

But Tom's greatest legacy lives in his faith and the many lives he touched through it. He was never shy about sharing his testimony and led countless people to know the Lord. His passion for Christ and love for others were the heartbeat of his life.

Tom is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Jeannette; his sons, Matthew (Ashlee) and Samuel (Leah); and his five cherished grandchildren: Amber, Ava, Jaxon, Everly, and Grace. He is also survived by his brothers, Chuck and John. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Sr. and Barbara Bryant.

Tom will be deeply missedbut his presence, his principles, and his passion for the Lord will continue to live on through the lives he shaped anchored in the foundation of his truth, as found in the Words of the Lord in John 3:16; "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life"
