Antonie (Toni) Baker, of Modesto, CA, died Saturday after a brief illness. She was born in Frankfurt, Germany and moved to Modesto, CA in 1953. Toni and her husband, Larry had a deep loving relationship that was centered on their Catholic faith and devotion to God.
Toni's children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were the pride and joy of her life. The legacy of Toni's kindness, compassion for people and zest for life will live on though them.
She is survived by her husband, Larry of 62 years, and seven children, Linda, Mike, Marianne, Rick, Terry, Robin and Robert. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Oct 23rd between 4 PM and 8 PM (Rosary at 7 PM) at Lakewood Funeral Home (Heritage Chapel), 900 Santa Fe Ave, Hughson, CA.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, Oct 24th, at 10 AM at St. John Bosco Catholic Church, 1606 Imperial Ave, Modesto, CA.

Her family and friends suffered a great loss when Toni died. She will be sorely missed and the world won't seem the same without her. Such a wonderful person. My prayers are with her and her family. May God grant her eternal peace.
