William Cortese Obituary
Bill was born on January 23, 1953. He worked as a truck driver for the Teamsters for over 30 years. He was known for his love for his family and friends, his strong work ethic, and his quick wit. He was also known for his passion for hunting, camping, golfing, and, of course, the Raiders.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ann and Joseph Cudia, and his sister, Agnes "Jitter" Petersen. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Cortese; his brother, Vincent (Dixie) Cudia; his sister, Joann Porter; his children, Joseph (Tisha) Cortese, Molly (Gary) Flaming, Scotty (Jackie) Cortese, Chris Patrick, and Jennifer Coey; as well as his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held on January 28, 2026, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Oakdale Memorial Chapel. A service will be held on January 29th, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Matthias Anglican Church in Oakdale, California. Burial and reception will follow.

A true friend, always willing to help. I played with Bill @ various golf courses over the years, always enjoyed his company; his joking around, but telling his fellow golfers "I love you guys", and he truly meant it. We love you to Bill, and we will miss you terribly!
