Mr. William Franklin Hardy was born on Feb 2, 1927 and called home by his Maker and Lord God on Aug. 10th, 2014 after a short illness. JD was born in Paris, TX. He lived in Modesto until 1947 when work brought him to Los Banos. He met and later married the love of his life, Martha Vannest, on Nov 23, 1950 at Calvary Baptist Church. Their 63 years produced 4 children, 16 grandchildren, 17 greats, and lots of extended family. He is survived by his wife Martha, his sister Elsie Marie Kolkman, and children: Belinda and David Sabetta, Bill Hardy Jr., Barby and Abi Auseereejanoo. After many long held jobs, Bill served the local Masonic Lodge as Worshipful Master 11 times and was their caretaker for 30 years. There will be a memorial service at the Methodist Church, 1031 Iowa St., Sat. the 23rd at 11:00. Followed by a reception at the Masonic Lodge, 1510 Canal Farm Ln. in Los Banos.
