DAVID SCOTT Obituary

DAVID LYNWOOD SCOTT
David Lynwood Scott, age 78, a 54-year resident of Needles, California passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2025. He was born on December 19, 1946 in San Bernadino, California to parents Ernest L. and Frances Scott.
David served in the US Navy from 1867-1970. He worked for the California Department of Transportation.
David liked hunting, fishing, watching softball, Elks Lodge #1608, and spending time in the New York mountains.
He is survived by his wife, Patty Scott; daughter, Amy (Andy) Avila of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; son, Justin (Kathy) Scott of Needles, California; grandsons, Cody Scott and Tate Scott; and granddaughter, Summer Scott.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at the Elks Lodge 1608, 1000 Lillyhill Drive, Needles, California.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Needles High School Lady Stang Softball Program.

To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

To the Scott family, our condolences to your family. Dave coached my son when in baseball and he was part of our lives during this time. Going to practices and the games always there to help support our team. So sad to learn of his passing.
