Bill and I went into the Navy on the Buddy system. We both ended up at NAS Miramar Sand Diego. We were plane captains which pre flight the plane before and after they came back. I was on the Coral Sea while he was on the Bonny Dick both off of Vietnam. We both went to the Mediterranean on the Franklin D Roosevelt
From January to July 1970. We got out on October 5th 1970. I was shocked when I read he had passed. I was looking for him to see how he was getting along.
