James Pfeifer Obituary
Jim was born June 24, 1938 in Toledo to James and Elsie (Cevora) Pfeifer, Sr. Jim married Joyce D. Winter December 5, 1959; she preceded him in death March 15, 2016.
He was employed with the American Tool and Die for many years before his retirement.
James was a member of Westgate Chapel.
He enjoyed fishing, reading the Bible, watching westerns and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his sons, Daryl J. (Kathy) Pfeifer, James V. (Debbie) Pfeifer, sister, Shirley Young; grandchildren, Brandi (Angel) Reyes, Harley Pfeifer and Kevin Clark; step-grandchildren, Tom Reau, Jr. and Justin Reau and great grandchildren, Adriana, Noah, C.J., Magnolia, Corbin and Dominic.
In addition to his wife, Jim is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Lilly Mae Fowler and daughter-in-law, Margo Pfeifer.
The family will receive guests Friday, January 26, 2018 from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer - Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Saturday at 11:00 am. at Westgate Chapel, 2500 Wilford Rd., Toledo, OH 43615. Burial will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Or the Arthritis Foundation in Jim's memory.
