Juan Mata Obituary
On December 12, 1970 he married Myrtle Collins and she preceded him in death on January 22, 2016.
Tex worked on the assembly line at Ford Motor Company Rawsonville for 39 ½ years. He enjoyed mowing any lawn he could get his mower on. He also attended the Milan Free Methodist Church.
He is survived by two sons, Chad Mata of Westland, Kim (Susie) Mata of Grass Lake, one daughter, Kathy (Bryan) Corfman of Saline, five grandchildren, Carmen Mata, Caleb Mata, Renee (Chris) Wedow, Mark Mata and Carmen (Austin) McCloe, sister, Consuelo Torres, along with many nieces and nephews.
Besides his wife he was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Helena Mata, and his siblings, Maria Hernandez, Santos Mata, and Imelda Delgato.
Visitation will be held at Ochalek-Stark Funeral Home, Milan on Tuesday, December 20th from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm. The funeral service will be 11:00 am Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at the Milan Free Methodist Church with visitation one hour prior beginning at 10:00am. Pastor John White will officiate. Burial will follow at Marble Park Cemetery, Milan, Michigan. Those desiring may make contributions to Safehouse Center/Domestic Violence Project, Inc. Ann Arbor, MI, or the Huron Valley Humane Society. You may sign his guestbook at www.ochalekstark.com.
