Linda passed away peacefully in the early morning hours Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at the age of 66 after a short illness from glioblastoma multiforme brain cancer at Ebeid Hospice, Sylvania, Ohio.
She was born Jan. 26, 1950 to Bob and Josephine (Godbey) VanWormer in Toledo, Ohio.
A lifelong resident of Bedford Township, Linda graduated from Bedford High School in 1968. She then went to work at WSPD radio as an FM programmer. She married Frederick R. Wilkins in August 1968.
Linda was hired in at Blue Cross and, a short time later, was promoted to executive private secretary/administrative assistant to the senior vice president. After working at Blue Cross for approximately eight years, Linda stayed home to start her family of three children.
Linda divorced Wilkins in 1988. She went back to school at MCCC and Lincoln Chiropractic College and became a certified x-ray tech.
Linda had a chance to work at the U.S. Postal Service part time in 1993 while furthering her education and worked herself up to postmaster in 2002, first at Samaria then Ida.
Linda married Donald R. Kudelka in 2002. 
Linda had been a member of Samaria Methodist Church since childhood. Linda had too many memberships to print. Please go to

Preceding Linda in death were her father, Bob VanWormer, in 1989; her grandparents; aunt Elaine (Godbey) Couch; stepfather Edward J. Cygnor; great-aunt Lucina Crabb, great-uncle Myron Crabb, uncle Jerry Galdeen.
Left to cherish Linda's memory are her mother, Josephine VanWormer-Cygnor of Temperance, husband Donald R. Kudelka of Samaria, brother David (Elisa) Van Wormer of Temperance, daughter Lisa (Raymond) Fournier and their two children, Faith and Daniel, of Fuquay-Varina, N.C.; son Aaron (Tamara) Wilkins and their three children, Kaitlyn, Audrey and Colin, of Fuquay-Varina, N.C.; daughter Laura Baris of Ypsilanti, special aunt Pat (Godby) Galdeen, stepdaughter Shanna (Phillip) Warner and her three sons of Springfield Township, and other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Linda's wishes were to be cremated and no services.
The family wishes to thank the staff at ProMedica Toledo Hospital, Hickman Cancer Center-ProMedica Flower Hospital and especially the loving care at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania, Ohio.

American Cancer Society or to the donor's choice.
Cremation was by Cremation Society of Toledo, Toledo, Ohio.
