DAVID FLAA Obituary

DAVID JOHN FLAA David John Flaa was born on January 20, 1972, in Montevideo to John Flaa and Arlys Flaa (Syde). Growing up, many summer weekends were spent at the lake camping with his mom, grandma and sister along with aunts, uncles, and cousins. There was also the yearly road trips that generated more than a few funny stories. He attended school in Montevideo and found a lifetime career in welding and fabrication. He was a talented welder and enjoyed his work. While living in Montevideo, he found the love of his life Kristine (Kris) Anderson. Together they made their way to the Twin Cities area and settled in Blaine permanently. In 1999, they had their first son, Ethan David Flaa, followed by Mason David Flaa in 2004. He loved being a dad and enjoyed spending time with his boys. They all participated in the Boy Scouts program together. David enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, and many other activities. He enjoyed the peace he found riding his Harley. He lost Kris in October 2023 after her long battle against dementia. David passed away January 20, 2024. David is survived by his beloved sons Ethan and Mason; his mother Arlys Flaa; his father John Flaa and partner Karla; his sister Terri (Steve) Wessling along with their children, Tara (Ramzes) Zavala and their child Oliver and Shawn Wessling.
