ESTHER FIENE Esther Fiene passed into heaven on October 20, 2025, in Jupiter, Fla. surrounded by her family. She was 99 years old. Esther lived her whole life as a child of God. Her love for her Savior influenced all she did and she treated all around her with kindness, generosity and love and was much admired for her fortitude and faith. Esther was preceded in death by her husband Bill. She is survived by her five children, Kristine (Ron) Lee, Susan (Jim) Halverson Westerberg, JoAnne Dillion, John (Solveig) Fiene, and Sara (Keith) Frizzell, 16 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters Carol Kilstofte and Anita Currier. Visitation will be held at Sunset Funeral Home in Echo on Friday, November 21 from 6 - 8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Posen Township with visitation from 10 - 11 a.m. before the service. Interment will be at the Echo cemetery after the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Luke Lutheran Church.
